Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, acquiring prepaid token packages, or otherwise accessing the services provided by notiNam ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access or use our systems.

2. Account Registration & Security

To use our reminder pipelines, you must register a secure account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated.

• Individual Accounts: Restricted to personal use and peer-to-peer friendly reminders.
• Business Accounts: Required for commercial organizations, gyms, micro-lenders, or utility operators. Requires verification and compliance validations.

3. Token-Based Prepaid Utility Model

notiNam operates on a strict Prepaid Utility Model. There are no monthly recurring subscription commitments unless custom template slots are explicitly leased.

• Purchases: Tokens are bought in prepaid packages (e.g. N$ 100 Starter to N$ 50,000 Mega Enterprise) and act as transactional fuel.
• Deductions: 1 standard SMS is billed at 1 token per 160-character segment in GSM-7 encoding. Emojis or special Unicode characters trigger UCS-2 compression, decreasing the limit to 70 characters per segment. Emails are billed at the prevailing segment conversion rate.
• Expiry: Prepaid tokens do not expire as long as the account remains active. Accounts inactive for more than 12 consecutive months may be deactivated.

4. Acceptable Use & Compliance (CRAN Regulation)

All outbound messaging must comply with Namibian carrier regulations, the Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia (CRAN) directives, and global anti-spam regulations.

5. Refunds & Cancellations

Since tokens represent consumed server and gateway bandwidth, all package purchases are final. We do not offer cash refunds for partially consumed token packages. In the event of system errors leading to non-delivery, please contact support within 7 days for credit adjustments.

6. Limitation of Liability

notiNam provides messaging channels on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We are not liable for any delays in delivery due to mobile network disruptions, carrier blacklists, local power failures, or incorrect contact details provided in your recipient dashboard.
